Q. What is included in the FIXED FEE SERVICE? We charge you a competitive fee of just £155 per debtor + VAT.
We visit the debtor twice and we will keep you informed as to our progress at all stages.
Q. What if I am unsure as to whether the name and address is correct? You must verify the name and address in some way, otherwise our debt collecting service may prove wasteful to you, alternatively if you are unsure as to the address then we can offer to trace a debtor, please contact us with details of the debtors last known address, DOB, name and any other details and we will be able to give you a price for tracing the debtor or refer you to a reputable tracing agent. Please note only approximately 60-70% of debtors can be traced using approved techniques, tracing agents who promise better results are either gifted or using unapproved methods! Please bear in mind you could be taking a risk using an agent who uses clandestine or unapproved methods.

Q Who receives the money from the debtor?
A In the first instance, we do. Naturally we send the funds straight to you once the payment has cleared.
Q Are there any other charges?
A Only if you need to initiate court proceedings. This incurs court fees, payable not to 'Aurora' but rather to H.M.C.S. (Her Majestys Court Services). The court fees are detailed here >> Click here
Q My debt is complicated and I'm not sure if Aurora can help me. Can I contact someone about it?
A Of course, just call us on 0870 8031356 and ask to speak to one of our representatives.
Q Do you undertake legal action?
A We can help you initiate the whole process and guide you as it progresses. However, we cannot give you legal advice, and we do not represent you in court and will not be the claimants in the case.
Q If I have lost contact with my customer can you track them down?
A Yes. We can trace them if you give us more information or refer you to a reputable tracing agent if they require a more comprehensive investigation eg they are trying to hide from the law.
Q Is there a minimum number of debts or a minimum value to the debts that you will collect?
A No - and there's no maximum either. We have collected debts ranging from £108.50 to £186,000, we will devote the same degree of professionalism and rigour to whichever task you give us regardless as to the size of the underlying debt.
Q Do you collect international debts?
A Yes -but this can be a complex area so please contact us by telephone, we have affiliate firm relationships around the World and are most confident in collecting debts in France, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland and Spain. We can also advise where it may be difficult for you to collect because of legal or practical difficulties eg Eastern Europe, North Africa and South America. We will not charge you if you are a regular customer of Aurora on these matters. We are not an investigations agency so we will refer you to reputable investigations agencies where debtors have absconded abroad.
Do you have a client monies account? Yes we maintain a separate client account for all monies collected, our client account is maintained by Natwest a member of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
Do you have auditors? Yes as a member of the Credit Services Association we must produce audited accounts for each and every year that we are a member of the CSA.
Can I ask you for a client reference? certainly please contact us, our clients will be happy to supply references to you. However we need to contact them first to make them aware and preserve commercial confidentiality where appropriate..
